My friend Angela had a great theory about getting boys you like to reciprocate your feelings - it was all about propinquity or proximity (which are both fabulous words) - you try to keep the boy in your orbit. As I write this all three boys who can walk on their own are sitting around me and Trevor is nearby. I've noticed this phenomenon before - they all seem to gravitate to where Kurt and I are. I feel like a planet with three small moons following me around.
Also, I had to share - Aiden was talking to me while I was getting dressed the other day and asked me after I put on a pair of khaki pants:
"Mom, why are you wearing man pants?"
I told him they were lady pants because I was wearing them but he stuck to his story. Could this be the conclusion he's drawn after seeing his dad wearing khaki pants to work most days? Or do I have some sort of five-year-old male chauvinist on my hands? Because I asked him if jeans were lady pants and he said "No, they're for boys."
Hmmmmmm....

My $.02: There's no such thing as a five-year-old male chauvinist. Chauvinists happen because they never stop thinking like five-year-olds. (Is that a broad enough brush stroke for you?)
My mother in law once told me I drove her crazy because I never sat down. I realized it was true because my kids would devour me if I did! I couldn't even shower or pee without fingers under the door!! And church just feels like a dog pile on a pew.
Thanks Wende--That is the best anology I have heard yet. I too feel like my little people are orbiting me. On some days I love it and others I wish they would go orbit their father (if he were home I suppose they probably would). Great stories and pictures. I miss you guys and Sammy said again today she missed New York. See ya soon!!

I love catching up with you guys via the blog b/s I love hearing the Aidan stories and your thoughts on life(your little guys being little moons...). Sure wish we lived closer so Tristan could know and be friends with his cousins. I agree Trevor looks alot like Owen-they are both very cute and to me resemble a sweet little precious moments child (I hope thats ok with you-I hope thats not a brand of figurines you secretly hate!). Sure miss you guys! Love ya
